Ronnie Austin

Ronnie Austin began his banking career working for the First National Bank of Paulding County in 1969 and rose to the position of Sr. V.P. While in his 15 year tenure there, he earned a certificate of banking from the University of Georgia and a degree in Community Bank Management from the University of Wisconsin. He later obtained the designation of Certified Professional Banker from Kennesaw State University in 1995. After working as the Executive V.P. of the Peoples Bank of Bartow County until 1987, Ronnie left to organize Community Trust Bank in Hiram, Georgia. He served as President and CEO of Community Trust Bank until 2001. Since that time, he has become one of the organizers of Atlanta Business Bank and currently serves as its CEO. Ronnie and his wife, Fyellis, have six adult children and five grandchildren. They reside in Vinings.
Ed Cooney received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Stetson University in Deland, Florida. He is also a graduate of the University of Colorado Banking School in Boulder, CO. Ed is a CPA and currently serves as the President and CFO of Atlanta Business Bank. In addition to his responsibilities as President and CFO, Ed heads the Dental Private Banking Division of ABB. His private clients appreciate 14 years of banking and accounting experience. Ed currently lives in Marietta with his wife and three children. He enjoys playing golf, baseball and spending time with his family.

Pete Ewing
Executive Vice President
Pete Ewing is a graduate of West Georgia College with a degree in Political Science. He is a resident of Georgia where he started his banking career in 1991 at First National Bank of Polk County. Pete has been with Atlanta Business Bank since May 2002. Pete’s primary focus is residential construction as well as acquisition and development lending. In addition, he focuses on commercial A&D and real estate secured operating lines of credit. He is a member of the Paulding County Builders Association and the Northwest Central Home Builders Association. Pete and his wife live in Haralson County with their two sons and daughter. They are members at Providence Presbyterian Church and on most Saturdays in the Fall, he’s in Athens, wearing red with the rest of the Bulldog faithful.
Chris Mixon has been with Atlanta Business Bank since July 2004. After graduating from the University of Georgia with degrees in English and Political Science, Chris began his banking career with SunTrust Bank in 1996. In addition to heading the Medical Private Banking Division of ABB, Chris also specializes in the dental, legal and commercial real estate industries. He is an active member of the Georgia and Atlanta MGMA. He has lectured on topics such as embezzlement, medical practice establishment and financial management. Chris lives in Alpharetta with his wife and son where they attend St. Brigid Catholic Church. He is an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and supporter.

Rosemary Butler is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Banking. She is a resident of Paulding County. She began her banking career in 1969 with Fulton National Bank in Atlanta. During the past 15 years her main focus has been residential construction and development. She is a member of the Paulding County Home Builders Association and Daughters of the American Revolution. Rosemary resides in Dallas with her husband and attends First Methodist Church in Dallas. She has three adult children and two grandchildren.
